What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website, we collect what you give us: your name, business name, trade, website or Google listing, phone number or email address, and any message you include.
If you message us on WhatsApp, email us or book a call through our calendar, we receive your name and contact details along with anything you tell us.
When you visit the website, Google Analytics collects information about how it's used, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you found us. This uses cookies, which are explained in our Cookie Policy.
If you become a client, we also hold the information needed to do the work, such as logins you share with us, content for your website and billing details.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, record your video audit, arrange and hold calls, deliver the services you've asked for, and send invoices.
We use website analytics to understand how people use the site, so we can improve it.
We rely on our legitimate interests to reply to enquiries and to run analytics, on our contract with you to deliver work you've agreed to, and on legal obligations to keep financial records. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to mailing lists.
Who we share it with
We use trusted services to run the business, and they process information on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting and forms), Google (Analytics and email), Cal.com (call bookings), WhatsApp (messages), Loom (audit videos), and Notion and Zapier (keeping track of enquiries and projects).
Some of these services store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use recognised safeguards to protect it.
We'll only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you make an enquiry and don't go on to work with us, we keep your details for up to 2 years, then delete them.
If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for 6 years after our work together ends, because that's how long financial records must be kept.
Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to ask us to limit or stop using it, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere.
To use any of these rights, email us. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
